Like Red and Marinda, whose daughter, Cassie was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) as a baby, and who have been passionately engaged with JDRF ever since, the Gilmores have been laser-focused on helping JDRF cure T1D since their daughter, Margaret, was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 14 in 2007.
